退课

MCCC’s tuition and fee refund policy is separate from 的 process MCCC’s Financial 援助 Office must follow for determining a student’s financial aid eligibility when a student “正式的”或“非正式的”” withdraws from classes. 该法律规定，如果学生退学，MCCC必须如何处理学生获得的第四章项目援助金额. 当学生旷课时, 如果学生是经济援助接受者, 十大外围app, 和学生一样, may be required to return to 的 federal government all or a portion of 的 financial aid that had been disbursed and/or applied to 的 student’s account.

如果学生最初没有收到他或她所获得的所有资金, 学生可能需要支付提款后的费用.  如果学生退学后的支出包括贷款资金, 学校必须得到学生的同意才能发放资金.  学生可以选择拒绝部分或全部贷款资金，这样学生就不会招致额外的债务. MCCC可能会自动使用学生的全部或部分助学金资金来支付未支付的学费和杂费. 中冶需要学生的许可才能使用助学金支付任何其他费用.

另外, 有一些第四章的资金，学生可能已经安排收到，不能支付一旦学生退学, 由于其他资格要求. 例如, 如果一个学生是第一次, 本科一年级学生，在退学前未完成课程的前30天, 学生在那时没有资格获得任何直接贷款资金.

如果因为一些学生无法控制的原因, 该学生不能继续注册和出勤, 的 student should seek 的 advice of 的 Financial 援助 Office BEFORE withdrawing or stopping attendance in class to find out how this will affect 的ir financial aid package.

符合R2T4规定, 对于正式退学的学生，MCCC在学生最后一次出勤日期的30天内处理R2T4计算, 并在确定非正式退出付款期的学生后30天内.  MCCC is required to return 的 unearned portion of 的 student’s Title IV aid to 的 Federal government within 45 days of identifying that 的 student officially or unofficially withdrew from MCCC.

MCCC must comply with Federal regulations governing 的 Return to Title IV (Federal) 援助 Policy with regard to students who enrolled in “modular” classes during a specific payment period (e.g. -秋季，冬季或夏季).  美国.S. Department of Education’s definition of modules is “a course or courses in 的 program that do not span 的 entire length of 的 payment period or period of enrollment” (34 CFF 668.22(1)).  关于模块化课程R2T4的新规定将于2021年7月1日生效.美国教育部允许尽早实施这些规定. 中冶集团选择提前实施新的R2T4规则, 生效日期为五月十日, 2021.

MCCC所有的学位和证书课程都是标准的学期课程. A student who completes all 的 requirements for graduation from his or her program before completing 的 days or hours in 的 payment period that he or she was scheduled to complete is not considered to have withdrawn. 这适用于所有程序(带或不带模块).

如果学生成功完成:

提款豁免的要求(49%，½时间完成等).)仅用于确定学生是否被认为是R2T4目的的退学. 如果学生不符合退学豁免，被认为是退学, 所有正常的R2T4要求均适用:

• 完成度超过60%
• Post-withdrawal支付
• 已支付的和本可以支付的第四章资金等.

如果学生不符合新的退学豁免, 完成所有课程安排(即使只有一个模块), 不需要R2T4，因为学生只被安排参加这些模块/天.

课程安排天数

以学时计的课程, a student in a program offered in modules is scheduled to complete 的 days in a module if 的 student’s coursework in that module was used to determine 的 amount of 的 student’s eligibility for Title IV funds for 的 payment period.

在下列情况下，学校在R2T4计算的分母中包含一个模块中的天数:

• The student attended at least one day in 的 module; or
• 该学生至少有一天没有参加该模块, 但该模块被纳入了该机构对学生第四章资格的确定

MCCC不使用R2T4冻结日期.  MCCC monitors 的 student’s enrollment status throughout 的 period (no R2T4 Freeze Date) and as fluctuations occur 的 number of days in 的 denominator in 的 R2T4 calculation may change.

财政援助办公室使用同事系统来处理所有标题IV的返回计算. 注:MCCC不需要外部机构出席.       

确定退出日期:

• 官方取款经济援助办公室使用学生提交给注册办公室的正式签署的退学表中的退学日期, 或者学生在myWebPAL上退课的日期. 如果学生在不同的日期退课, 在R2T4计算中使用最晚的退课日期.

• 非官方的取款:教师在给出E级时，必须进入出席/参与的最后一天, F, 和你. 当经济援助办公室确认学生非正式退学时, R2T4计算中使用的是学院报告的出勤天数的最后一天. 如果学生非正式地在不同的日期退课, R2T4计算中使用学院报告的最晚退课日期.

符合R2T4规定, 对于正式退课的学生，MCCC会在学生最后一次出勤日期的30天内在同事中处理R2T4的计算, 并在确定非正式退出付款期的学生后30天内. 符合R2T4规定, MCCC在45天内将学院负责的不劳而获的助学金退还给相应的联邦援助计划。.

The Financial 援助 Office notifies students who completed 60% or less of 的 semester that 的ir financial aid has been reduced due to 的 R2T4 calculation by sending 的 student a letter (which explains what an R2T4 calculation is and why it was processed), 还有一份最新的账单.  结算单显示学生本学期的费用, 以及已经支付的经济援助款项/调整.  如果R2T4创建了学生欠MCCC的未偿余额, 余额反映在学生收到的对账单上.

符合R2T4规定, MCCC notifies/offers 的 student of any Post-withdrawal disbursement of grant and/or loan funds within 30 days of  MCCC’s determination that 的 student withdrew.  MCCC通过一封通过U.S. 邮政服务.  MCCC will automatically make a Post-withdrawal disbursement of grant funds to pay outstanding tuition and fee charges and notifies 的 student of 的 activity.  然而, 的 student must actively accept a Post-withdrawal offer for loan funds (or grant funds that would be used to pay any charges o的r than tuition and fees) in order for MCCC to make 的 Post-withdrawal disbursement.
